What is a traditional Japanese gift for a new mother?
My brother’s wife just gave birth to a new born, and we’re hoping to get them something. She is Japanese, and it occurred to us that we have no idea what kinds of gifts, if any, are traditional for new mothers in Japanese culture. Any ideas?
