How does the Japanese homeroom naming system work?
I’ve seen homerooms referred to as things like “2-2″ or “1-3″ and whatnot on a lot of shows, graphic novels, and websites about Japanese schools, and I’m wondering how exactly these are chosen. Does one of the numbers correspond to the school year a student is in…?
