Dalian City China and the Crude Oil Pipeline Considered?
Pipelines filled with crude oil don’t just blow up for no reason, and yet, there is no word about why the giant pipeline explosion and fire occurred in Dalian City, home to China’s largest oil port. But let’s discuss the possible causes, or culprits in this hypothetical. First, remember this is just a discussion, and pure speculation, but I’ll give you some background as I go.
First off, I don’t trust Chinese, Japanese steel, it’s not made from the same quality of iron-ore and our manufacturing process and hardening is much better in the US, meanwhile as you know China has been dumping that steel pipe on our markets, trying to kill our steel industry.
Thus, Obama Administration instituted tariffs, kicking off a mini-trade spat, which has included publicized labor strikes at manufacturing companies in China run by US and Japanese companies, along with that frozen chicken quota rule. Apparently the Chinese have no idea how powerful a lobby Tyson Foods is with Southern Senators, as that company provides a tremendous number of jobs.
The environmentalists in the US have further hurt the steel industry by attacking the coking coal mining sector in West Virginia (mountain top mining) and in Pennsylvania (ground water issues). We will see more steel pipelines break whether they be on land or underwater throughout the world as more Chinese pipe is used.
Second, Dalian City has had a slowdown in shipping some -12% last month, so this so-called accident could have been a labor attack? It might also have been a North Korea attack. Either way that’s a real dilemma for them, bad news, something is up! Interestingly enough, I was asked lately by an acquaintance; “Do you think that’s likely?” Not, sure but something is up.
Those were crude pipelines, they don’t just “blow up” by themselves, it takes human dynamite, which I think the Chinese invented anyway? Those pipeline breaks and explosions in Nigeria, same deal, human attack.
Lastly, no matter what the cause is; I worry because of all the fisheries there in Dalian City, some of that is sent to the US, pre-packaged in places like San Diego, as Pacific Salmon, what a bummer for fish supply in the world, along with the previous protein poison, now we could be eating fish which have been swimming in oil? So much for all those eateries in Europe, which have popped up over the last decade specializing in gourmet style salmon dishes.
This after the Gulf Oil spill, no wonder Carlyle Group bought that Hong Kong fishery company that fishes in the get this; Northern Atlantic? Yep, because that’s about the only place left anymore and we know that stuff in the Gulf of Mexico isn’t happening. And in Peru, Chile, etc, I am questioning the mercury content in their fish these days, bummer. Not that the reservoirs in CA for fresh fish are not showing the same. Remember, humans need Omega 3 in their diets.
Without fish all the Asians are sure to get diabetes [100-million already - a growth industry - pun intended], so Big Pharma is moving into china and taking all those jobs from outside Philly and Trenton to South Korea and China! This big explosion is being downplayed in the media, mostly because the Chinese government controls their media.
Now then, I can tell you this, I certainly don’t want Petro China or any other State-Owned Chinese Oil Company drilling off US Shores or off the coast of Cuba, if that’s how they run. We’ve had enough challenges with BP in the last year. Anyway back to the question? I don’t think the Maoists did it, so who did, it didn’t just happen, and now 50-60 square kilometers of ocean is ruined, not that there are not significant dead zones off all China’s coastlines. Please consider all this.
