Japanese Words in English
Maybe you have been to the Japanese section of your city recently, or you went on a trip to Japan. You were probably bombarded with many different Japanese characters from the various signs around and were stricken with a high level of confusion. You then realize that you want to turn this confusion into a sense of knowledge. From then on, you say, “I want to be able to translate Japanese words in English gosh darn it!” This is where I come into play.
I want you to know the different methods there are to learn how to translate Japanese words in English. This way you will never again be met with confusion and only be comforted with knowledge empowerment.
Here are 10 ways to translate Japanese Words in English:
1. Learn out of a Japanese dictionary. You can find these dictionaries in your local bookstore, library, and online. This will help you translate single word to very complex phrases.
2. Have someone Japanese teach you the language. Know any friends that know the Japanese language? How about any relative? If you ask them kindly, you will probably get a free tutor!
3. Go to a language school. Japanese can be taught in school. Look up all the schools in your area and see which ones offer a Japanese language course. This is the perfect structured way to learn Japanese.
4. Research over the internet. The internet is filled with helpful content. Do a Google search for “Learn Japanese.” You will be given a huge list of helpful learning sites.
5. Use software for Japanese language training. If you cannot afford a teacher, get a computer program to teach you. This way of learning the language is cheaper and makes you feel like you are playing a computer game!
6. Get private lessons. Look for private Japanese lessons in classifieds and through your phonebook. There are tons of private teachers waiting for your phone call.
7. Join language forums. If you have specific questions about the language, ask fellow internet surfers. Just look up, “Japanese Language Forum” in a search engine and you will see an excellent source for learning the language. Just sign up to a forum, make a few friends and learn Japanese.
8. Ask questions on specific answer boards online. There are sites online that are made to answer any question you have about life. Type in “Answers” in a search engine and find a site that will give you…answers. Ask your specific Japanese language questions there and see how many people help you out.
9. Learn Hiragana and Katakana. These are two forms of the Japanese syllabary. Learn more about them online and offline. They will help you with gaining knowledge for writing and understanding Japanese characters.
10. Take a trip to Japan. Learn from the source. Japan has a whole country with people that are professionals of the Japanese language. If you stay there for long enough, you may just soak up the language.
If you take these tips into consideration, you will understand how to translate Japanese words in English very quickly. Stay persistent with your learning. If you get stuck, get help from someone with proper knowledge of the language. This new skill that you will acquire has the ability to benefit you for many years of your life.
