How do the Japanese maintain such great figures if they are always eating rice?

Just wondering, because I always thought that rice was supposed to be eaten moderately and yet the Japanese (who by the way have the lowest obesity rates of all) eat rice everyday. I love rice (especially Japanese rice) and would like to eat more of it but I am worried that if I eat more rice I might gain weight. Any tips on how I can include more rice in my diet like Japanese while maintaining a good figure?
